Everyone loved it - Even the pickier 5-year-old. My problem was that when I added the milk to the roux, it congealed into a huge, doughy mess. I had to scrap it and start over. this time, I just dumped the butter/flour slurry into the soup and THEN added milk to the soup. it was still pretty thick, so we all cooled our soup with ice cubes which thinned it out and cooled it a little (i have 4 kids ages 12 and under). Next time I may increase the broth to 6 cups.

Yummy!! I didn’t use all the rue and I made it GF and DF. I also added a bit more salt. Very good!
