Made this many times and it’s my go-to chili recipe
Yummly User 2 years ago
I used v8 for the tomato juice and probably only put in 28 oz instead of the full quart. I also added a touch more celery and bell pepper then it called for. However, great recipe. Good flavor. Also, easy becuase its basically a dump and go.

it turned out really good not as spicy as i thought it would be

I love this recipe. The spice mix is spot on for flavor and not to much heat. I use tomato paste in stead of puree with extra liquid

This recipe is a hit with my family. I double the batch so we would have plenty of leftovers. It taste just like Wendy's. So darn good!

OK, a little too sweet. Doesn't taste like Wendy's at all.

Nice but nothing wow, just normal chili. Quite spicy. Served it with onion cornbread.

Our family really liked it! We like things a little spicier so are planning on adding jalapeños next time, but other than that this is definitely our “go-to” chili recipe from now on

Very tasty and simple to make. This is a perfect basic recipe on it own or you can customize. A definite go to when the chili craving hits.

Super tasty!!! I will definitley save this one.

Super good! I had to sub the tomato components for diced tomatoes and a can of condensed tomato soup but it still tasted almost identical to Wendy’s chili. I will make this again

Pretty good a little bland for my taste but a few drops of red hot does the trick

It was awesome!!! Def making this again

Amazing. So delicious. I only used one pound of beef instead of two and no cayenne because it would be too spicy for my kids. Also, I cooked it in my instant pot so I used half the amount of liquid.
Yummly User 6 years ago
A bit too spicy. Next time less chili. Ymmily incredient list did not mention the beans need to be from a can. This caused the cooking to be extended for 4 hours.
