    Left out the beans.. hubby allergic to them, otherwise added some sliced mushrooms..great recipe!

    This was a hit with my family. I used the app's serving feature to double the recipe and made 8 servings. I was surprised at how much chili powder was listed but followed it pretty much as directed and it turned out great! It wasn't soupy or too much like a tomato sauce as some recipes I've made before. The spice added depth of flavour but not overwhelming heat; everyone will have their own preferences so adjust accordingly. Minor changes: We enjoy spice so submerged a whole jalapeno pepper in the chili while simmering (hubby saw this on a cooking show). I substituted a can of diced tomatoes. This was the best chili I recall making We will return to this again and again. Thanks for a new family favourite.

    Awesome! I didn’t have the tomato juice or purée so I used a 28oz can of diced tomatoes and added an 8 oz can of tomato sauce and added extra chili powder. It was the best I’ve made and I’m no spring chicken, lol definitely will make again!

    Best chili ever, company loved it! Wasn’t too sure about some of the ingredients but will never turn to another chili recipe again. This recipe is perfect!!!
