- 10 oz. tuna
- oil
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 carrot (medium, peeled and grated)
- 1/4 cup onion (minced)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- lettuce (chopped)
- tomato (slices)
- 2 tsp. light mayonnaise
- peppers (pickled jalapenos)
- pickles

Directions
- Drain the tuna and mix it in a bowl with the oats, carrots, onion, and egg. If the mixture is too moist, you may add a few tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet on medium heat.
- Make small patties (about 1 cm. thick). Cook each side for up to 8 minutes until they become golden brown.
- To prepare the dressing, mix the mayonnaise with the jalapenos and pickles.
- Place the patties on a bed of lettuce and tomato and serve with the dressing.

I didn't know how well it gonna turn out, but I didn't have carrots, so I went for was left for the hamburger preparation (tuna, onions, egg, oats, pepper and bread crumbs, I didn't use salt, but maybe a pinch would be even better) I had it with hamburger rolls as the bread. And as the sauce I didn't want to use mayonnaise and I did my own sauce:
-3 spoons of French dressing
-1 spoon of chopped pickles
It was amazing! I definitely will do it again for my husband ❤️
