- 3 lb. tri tip (., mine looked like 4 big boneless ribs not sure if that is normal or not. ASK YOUR BUTCHER)
- 1/2 cup beef broth (or 1/2 cup of water with dry beef broth mixed in)
- 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 packet italian dressing mix (Sam's needs to make this in a big bottle like the Ranch)
- garlic salt (Generous sprinkling of)
- 1 Tbsp. ground mustard
- 4 dashes hot sauce
- olive oil (drizzle of)

Turned out great!! I added sweet paprika on tri tip and about 1tsp of liquid smoke. For hot sauce I used a couple of squirts of go-chujang sauce( bibigo brand) which added a sweet hot taste to mix. I also cut up some onions and when finished added a( little!)bbq sauce and came out perfect. Great recipe

Super good, but I learned the hard way as a new celiac, Italian dressing seasoning packet has wheat. I found one without on Amazon, it is super good. My family ate on a bun, I ate on almond flour tortillas. We served with potatoes and a side of veggies. Definitely a repeat

Flavor was good. I used the instant pot and originally used the 8 hour crockpot time for conversion to 30min instant pot. I should have added some more time. I added water to the juice because it was super salty and made gravy with it, yum! I will make again, but not use tri tip. Beef ribs would be good or roast beef.

OMG I wish I’d bought a larger tri tip!
Mine is 1 1/2 pounds. This was my first time using my new Hamilton Beach digital crock pot. Our home had a wonderful aroma during the 8 hours it cooked! The meat is tender, juicy and flavorful! I let it rest about 15 minutes and could not wait to sample a small slice. My husband and I will enjoy the roast for Saturday dinner with carrots and mashed potatoes.

Fantastic flavor I cooked it for 10 hours. I made my own “Italian dressing mix” and used beef bone broth. This recipe is a keeper.
