My kids love Mac and cheese. This was very good and easy enough for my teenage boys to make.

It's a decent recipe to follow, because I could never get the flour/milk/butter ratio right. That being said, this particular one needs more cheese and overall flavor. Next time I do this, I might cut back on the milk (I had no cream) and go with more cheese. I liked the Ritz cracker crumbs... something i wouldn't have thought of.

I did the college kid budget version of this.
velveeta shells and cheese, salt, pepper, bread crumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon bits, parsley.
it was very tasty and i will probably make again. was very quick and easy to make. i bet that the real recipe is even better.

Loved this dish! It was delicious and a big hit! I doubled the recipe for a family picnic and cooked a pound of bacon. I did stay with the 40 Ritz crackers, it really didn't need anymore than that. Will definitely make it again.

Halved the recipe and made it for dinner for my family. Instead of butter, I reserved about 2 tbs of bacon fat and made the cheese sauce with that as a base rather than butter. I also traded in the parsley for Thai basil because that was what I had on hand. My family ate the whole thing (we usually have leftovers). It was delicious and easy!
