I added a bit more bacon. It was good and easy to follow served over rice. Makes a filling lunch. Topped off with avocado and lime. Watch the salt though. As the water cooked down, it becomes very salty. I added half a jalapeño the 2nd time. It added nice flavor and a bit of spice.

Added poblano peppers, ham instead of bacon,and home grown tomatoes. Going to be served over Navajo Cornbread

really good. added more seasoning to spice them up abit made some cornbread muffins to go along with the beans. comfort food
