- 1 red chile (red Jalapeno or Fresno chile, thinly sliced)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (preferably grade B)
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp. vinegar (red wine, sherry, or apple cider vinegar)
