will not make again consistency of the cake was off due to the strawberries high water content

I would call these more a biscuit type dessert than a muffin. I really enjoyed them so did my family. I recommend cutting strawberries into smaller pieces to avoid sogginess.

Uncooked, strawberries made it wet and soggy disaster

Good.... a bit bland.... a bit more sugar in the batter would have been good. I coated the strawberries in sugar and then in flour. Otherwise good, not too sweet and great for breakfast with coffee.

I was a little skeptical when I realized there was no sugar in the batter, but they turned out very well. My husband and his friend were the guinea pigs, and they gave them a thumbs up. I usually like things on the sweet side, but I thought they were fine. I'll make them again. Also, it is a good way to use a few leftover strawberries.

Not a fan, I even added a little sugar in the mix also. Too bland, possibly added some of that sugar to the strawberries prior adding to the biscuit; might help? I placed whipping cream on the side to help with the blandness.

They are really good, moist, not too sweet. I gluten free flour so my grandson can enjoy them. Very easy to make.
