Making some pie filling with a fresh peck of apples from the local orchard, I love this recipe. I’ve never used brown sugar or maple syrup making apple pie filling but I’m very pleasantly surprised!!! It’s perfect! I made a double batch for the freezer! Hubby gave his stamp of approval while home from work on lunch hour! Thank you for sharing this! Definitely going to make more for the holidays! 😋❤️👍🏻🙌🏻

Delicious! Used honey instead of syrup, 2 tsp cinnamon, and 3 tb water. I also did not peel the apples (that's where all your fabulous nutrients are). Going to use this to fill wonton wrappers.

turned out amazing! only thing i did a bit differently was continue to add 2 tbsp of water as i was cooking the apples so that it wouldnt burn. i continued to do this untill the apples were soft enough to my liking. i also did not peal the apples at all. to me this wasnt a problem

10/10 I use this for all my apple pies but add a touch of ginger and some honey. I made this recipe for a dutch apple pie and I was praised by being told it was the best apple pie they ever had.

I didn’t have lemon, I used limes. I also used lime zest and coconut sugar in place of the brown sugar. Yum!

wonderful, i followed the recipe but added allspice and a lil vanilla and honey and used half the amount of brown sugar it called for, the reason why is my husband is diabetic

Great! We added a bit of water and added an oatmeal crumble and it was perfect! I would reccomend this.

This turned out great!!! It stuck to the pan a bit, so next time I'm either going to use my nonstick pan or add extra liquids. All in all, tasted great, and I put it in little croissants, and it was awesome! Did it yesterday for Father's Day, Dad loved it. I used Granny Smith apples and next time I'll probably do something else. Great recipe, thank you so much

Smells awesome, and super easy. I like mine with a lot of cinnamon, so I added nearly double the amt in recipe.
