Suggestions:
- Add sauce immediately when you put the shrimp in
- Take shrimp out and let sauce go a bit longer
- mix with rice and pour sauce on top!

It turned out well. I actually cooked linguine noodles and made a pasta. The shrimp wasn’t really sticky but really good.

I loved it and so did my family.

Was delicious! Added a little crushed red pepper, ginger, and chili paste. Added broccoli and served it over brown rice. Superb!! Will make again when the college kids return from school

I made this last night. It was ok. However, my question is what did she do to make the shrimp in the picture look like this? With all the ingredients, there is nothing listed that would make it look like the picture. The sauce did not thicken, so I made a bit of cornstarch slurry to thicken it. It was more of a brown sauce. The picture looks more like they were broiled or something. Did i miss something?

Yeah... it was running and the shrimps weren’t tender. I like the taste though. I’ll make it again and will add shrimps at the end when totally water was soaked.

The proportions in the recipe feel kinda off. The marinade needs less garlic and higher honey to soy sauce ratio because it's too runny. After having made appropriate corrections it turned out to be quite tasty, hence, 3 stars.

The shrimp cooks for too long if using the recipe as stated. Also, sauce never thickened. I suppose the sauce could be thicker if I cooked it longer. Might try cooking shrimp first, remove from pan, add sauce and cook 'til thickened, then toss shrimp in thickened sauce. Flavor is pretty good.

loved it! tasty sauce

Great! I cooked rhe shrimp like suggested and then removed it to cook down sauce- so as to not over-cook the shrimp. I served with white rice and broccoli.

Cornstarch thickened the sauce nicely. Yum

This dish was pure deliciousness!!

Really good. I used less than the recommended amount of honey.

It was really good. My only critic is maybe this would be better if the shrimp was completely shelled.

I’ve made this easy recipe three times in a row added broccoli . I just want the sauce thicker
Yummly User 6 years ago
great but i don't know why the sauce didn't thicken

Was good. Simple to make. I would try raw instead of cooked shrimp. Thought I could skimp around it but I over cooked the shrimp. I think next time if I make it I'll add a few veggies into it.

Wonderful. The flavor needed a tiny kick so I added about 1 teaspoon of Franks hot sauce & it was fantastic.
Next tome I'll add a little corn starch to the sauce to help thicken it enough to adhere to the shrimp better.
Bu the way, this sauce is also great on veggies like green beans.
