Description
This dish is flavored with smoky paprika and liquid smoke. The spicy marinade gives the chicken a robust flavor. Adapted from the recipe Smoky Chicken with Avocado Sauce by Wendi Polisi.

- 2 Tbsp. oils (avocado)
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. ancho chili powder
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs

Directions
- In a large zip top bag combine oil, salt, smoked paprika, onion powder, ancho chili powder and liquid smoke squish around to mix. Place chicken in a bag and move around to coat.
- Allow to marinate for 30 minutes or up to 4 hours
- Preheat grill pan to medium heat. Bring chicken to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Remove chicken from marinate and place on grill pan. Cook about 8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

This was delicious! Flavors melded together well. I'll definitely make this again many times. It is also so easy. I did not bring chicken to room temp before cooking. I used chicken breasts and put them directly on the grill.
