Chili is always a favorite - anytime. Here’s another way to make rich, beefy no-bean chili with leftover Tri Tip on your Louisiana Grill. The secret is in the simmer, as all the ingredients come together for a flavor everyone will love. Save some for breakfast the next day to have with eggs or make ahead to freeze for later!

- 12 oz. beer ( )
- 8 oz. tomato sauce (Spicy)
- 6 oz. beef stock ( )
- 1 medium onion (Diced and Sauteed )
- 1 jalapeno (Diced )
- 1 red chili (Sweet, Diced )
- 3 pieces bacon (Extra Thick, Cooked and Chopped)
- 3 tsp. sauce
- 1 chipotle pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. rub (Louisiana Grills Prime Steakhouse)
- 1 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 tsp. chili powder (Cayenne)

This turned out great! I used this recipe in combination with the above: https://www.yummly.com/recipe/Smoked-Tri-tip-Chili-1897078 (From which I added the onions, San Marzo tomatoes, and beans.) Some additions: 5 pieces of bacon, sauteed the onions and peppers in the bacon fat, and added 3 yellow squash for texture. I also used an extra can of tomato sauce, and 1 can of tomato paste.) Aside from both recipes, I added some leftover ham to the tri-tip. I used 1 jalepeno and 1 poblano instead, and no chiptole... Keith still complained it was too spicy.
