I made this. It was good but not great. It had a off-putting acidity and bitter taste. Hmmm... maybe my ingredients?

It turns out great every time. I make a double batch as it freezes well. I also use black beans in addition to kidney beans.

The Best!
Doubled the recipe and added small red baby patato's and 2 tablespoons of dark brown sugar!
