it turned out great change from chicken breast to chicken thighs also use heavy cream instead of milk

Very tasty! Added chicken stock about 1 cup with 2 hours left (I had doubled the recipe) because the stuffing seemed dry. Adding the chicken stock made the stuffing very moist. A keeper for my family.

I think this has the potential to be a great recipe but made exactly per directions leaves the stuffing extremely dry. Some parts were saturated while other parts were not edible.
I make a similar recipe without the cheese that involved combining chicken soup mix with water and sour cream then pouring OVER the stuffing mix. This has a much more...edible result. In the future, I would basically use the other recipe (crockpot chicken and stuffing) but add the Swiss cheese to the chicken because that was a nice touch.
