- 4 lb. beef short ribs
- 3 Tbsp. all purpose flour (plain)
- 1 tsp. salt (plus more to taste)
- 1 tsp. pepper (plus more to taste)
- oil (for frying)
- 3 rashers (rindless middle bacon, diced)
- 1 carrot
- 4 batons
- 2 onions (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (diced)
- 500 mL beef stock (Woolworths Gold King Island)
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp. vegemite
- 1 tsp. sugar (if needed)
- 1 head cauliflower (once I removed the leaves mine was 1kg or just over 2 lbs)
- 1 cup chicken stock (Woolworths Gold Free Range)
- 3/4 cup cream (you can try evaporated milk if you want to keep it lower in fat)
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3 tsp. sugar
- salt
- pepper
- grated nutmeg (Freshly)
- 6 carrots (topped and tailed and sliced in half horizontally)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. runny honey
- 1/2 tsp. sumac
