    Was a great recipe. I like mine hotter than my husband does and adding additional peppers at the end makes it great for all tastes. Great flavor.

    This was nothing like General Chicken. It was good, but way too sweet. Tasted like BBQ sauce with soy and sugar.

    This recipe turned out so delicious! I also added broccoli for the last hour of cooking. It is now in my rotation of recipes my family loved it

    Delicious! I altered it due to what I had on hand. When I smelled the sauce ingredients together, oh wow! I didn't have sesame seeds nor green onions. I had thighs with skin, and I left the pieces pretty large, fried them up, and then did the sauce. Great stuff, and I may try this with beef or pork!

    Great taste! Used erythritol. Stir fried it instead of slow cook and the meat was still tender and flavor still good!

    AWESOME!! We decreased the sugar so that it was a scant 1/3c. Used low-sodium soya sauce as well. The best part, though, was having chopped raw ginger. 1 Tbsp raw = 1/4 pad. The additional fresh kick gave this a real bite!!! SO MUCH SAUCE! A definite redo!! I don’t think we will ever buy pre-made sauce again!

    Delicious! Super easy, I cooked in casserole with lid in oven on low heat but did brown chicken first. Was a family success 🤩

    Everyone loved it! We threw some frozen broccoli into the slow cooker last. Next time I would consider experimenting with walnuts!

    Was good, made it without browning the chicken first and it was good. But the Hoisin Sauce was a little to much at the 1/2 cup measurement. Will try again, but not my favorite.

    Way too much hoisin sauce - that's all you could taste. I've never had General Tso's chicken from a takeout that tasted like this.

    The chicken is moist and delicious! I made 6 chicken breasts so I doubled the recipe. Served it over homemade fried rice. Better than any I’ve had! Will make it again it didn’t take 4 hours to cook though, I assume it depends on if you sear your chicken and how big of pieces also I added the sesame seeds to the sauce while cooking and substitute seas and oil for canola. Perfect!

    Cooked on high for 4hrs. Boyfriend loves it. I thought it was a little too dry, and sweet. Nexttime i'm just gonna skip the crock pot and just cook it right on the stove top. Still delicious tho, just not what im looking for. live and learn. ~ PEACE, LOVE, UNITE, RESPECT ❤✌

    My family loved it. Will make again. Notes about making it: used 8 boneless chicken thighs instead (2 Costco packages), cornstarch coated chicken browning activity stuck mercilessly to my non stick pan, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes didn't make it very hot - kind of lukewarm.

    I was definitely make this again. After reading review, I cooked the chicken tossed in cornstarch on the stove and lightly browned it. I made the sauce in my slow cooker and turned it on low. I doubled the sauce based on previous reviews. I then added broccoli to the sauce and then the cooked chicken. I tossed the mixture to sufficiently coat and then sprinkled the sesame seeds on top. My family loved it. Oh, I forgot to mention that I also doubled the chicken. I was trying to make sure we had enough for leftovers, but we barely do. Oh well!

    It tastes great, but as a newbie saying “4 chicken breasts” does nothing for me. Saying large, medium or small or even better, a weight would help me. I used three breasts and there was so much meat I had to brown it in batches and increase the sauce. It didn’t thicken like I’d hoped and I used more cornstarch than they said. But it did taste good and I’d cook it again
