This came out GREAT! And I'm no chef. better than takeout. It is really high in calories though in case you're counting... i didn't realize or I would have looked at ways to cut the number down before i made it. Oh well!

Quick and easy. It is a little sweet will cut back on the brown sugar next time. I also used fresh ginger instead of the ginger powder.

This was delicious! It was faster to make on stove without the slow cooker.

Don’t make in the croc pot, the chicken over cooks!

Turned out great! Sweet, with a nice touch of heat. Kids loved, so we'll be doing it again soon!

Bang on! Turned out very well in the slow cooker, soft chicken and a great sauce. Shame i had to leave the chilli out for the misses

Aweful. Do not cook for 4 hours in crockpot. Chicken will be tough. Needed to double sauce. Will not make again

I doubled the recipe (2lbs chicken) and added a touch of sesame oil to the sauce. A little less sugar and rice vinegar made this taste like legitimate Chinese take out.

Delightful! We doubled the recipe in order to have leftovers, but that was a mistake. If we wanted leftovers, we should have tripled it!

I LOVE this. I just finished it on the stovetop and substituted vinegar for the wine vinegar and some char hou sauce for hoisin. Beyond pleased! ☺️☺️

Loved this recipe, it did cook a bit faster then I thought so I will shorten the cook time by an hour next time. The family loved it!

Pretty good. Use less sodium soy sauce and watered Down a bit cuz it’s too salty for my taste. It was good. I friend the chicken after covered in the cornstarch.

I read some of the recent reviews and made it with those suggestions and loved it! I didnt make it in a crock pot, fully cooked the chicken with cornstarch in skillet then added sauce for the last two mins of cooking. I added some chili powder and cayenne to the sauce bc I like the heat. I also did 1/3 cup hoisin, 1/4 cup water instead. 👍

This recipe turned out great! We added a little siracha to make it a little spicier but other than that, we followed the recipe.

Tasted great right off the recipe! Liked the chopped green onions used as a condiment. Definitely made my yum list.

I’ve never cooked actual food before but with a little help on how to cook chicken I made two full plates of sesame chicken from 2 packs of chicken breast. The sauce I was suspicious of being to “bold” but ended up fabulous. Me and my family approve of this recipe. I would def make this again!

This was great! However, I skipped the crock pot step entirely. I just fried the cornstarch-coated chicken in the pan and added the sauce at the very end. The chicken stayed really crispy and the sauce was delish.
