- 1 lb. lean ground beef (Substitutions available ground turkey)
- 1 pkg. burrito seasoning mix (McCormick®)
- 16 oz. pinto beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup water
- 4 flour tortillas (6-inch, cut into thin wedges)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
- Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. Drain fat.
- Stir in Seasoning Mix, beans, salsa and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in flour tortilla wedges. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover. Let stand 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve with desired toppings.

Turned out great - I really liked the texture of the tortillas. I also put the skillet in the oven to melt the cheese, which I will do again.

This is a winner, so simple to make. Went with Hanover charro flavored pinto beans. Especially like the texture of the cut up tortillas mixed in with other ingrediants.

This was so simple and tasty. It only took me like 30min. You can easily add chopped onion and hot sauce.

Turned out great. Was quick and easy. Left it on the burner a little longer than recipe stated, I wanted it to thicken up just a bit
