Seasoned with Cajun seasoning, granulated garlic & threw on a little unseasoned meat tenderizer. Added a egg & splash of milk. Put in the fridge to marinate. When ready to fry added butter & peanut oil to cast iron skillet. Tossed flour with some seasonings. Dredged chops then fried as directed, 3-5 min. per a side, until golden & cooked through. Delicious basic recipe.

Very good, this is our favorite pork chop recipe.

Chops were moist but would have liked more seasoning. S&P both sides and even added more spices to the flour dredge but just didn’t come through.
Cooked the first 3 over medium heat, no good browning sear, cooked 2nd 3 over med-high and got a better result.
Good but need to spice it up!

Perfect golden brown and crispy moist.
May try pan gravy next time with less oil in the pan. May try shaking the flour mix in a repurposed vegetable bag with less flour and cornmeal or Panko added for crunch

Delicious - also works well with boneless cutlets. Hubby and boys loved it!

used gluten free flour mix and it still cane out perfectly. i did use a no salt seasoning because i was taught to salt pork after cooking as it draws out moisture.

Great! Cooked them longer and in lower heat

These came out great. I think the mistake I've always made in the past was not using enough fat/oil. Then the pan dries out and the browning is very uneven. This time I used plenty, the chops were halfway submerged. Problem solved!

This is the exact same recipe my mom used and that I've used my whole adult life - so tasty.
I keep the ingredients as is but also add some garlic powder and a bit of garlic salt.
As for a side dish I use the fat drippings to make a yummy gravey and serve it over white rice.
Oh the childhood memories!

Great. Did she put down in her recipe that the pork chops can be finished in the oven at 400 and an internal temperature of 145?

Maybe because we ate it a few hours after it was cooked, the pork chop was tough. Taste is ok though...
