- 14 oz. chopped tomatoes (400 g)
- 2 Tbsp. tamari soy sauce
- 2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne
- 1 cup rice (uncooked, 200 g, we used short grain white rice)
- 3 cups water (or vegetable broth, 750 ml)
- 2 Tbsp. tahini (optional)
- 1 cup chickpeas (canned or cooked, 180 g)
- 1 cup kidney beans (canned or cooked, 180 g)
- fresh parsley (Chopped, for garnish, optional)

Excellent, filling and tasty. Simple to make, just keep an eye on the absorption of the veg broth/water as it evaporated very quickly. I used 4 cups in the end.
