I absolutely love this recipe!! It’s so easy to make. I’ve followed this recipe exactly as it says and also with other seasonings. Packets of ranch but always using the apples. We usually like to shred and fill into corn tortillas. Thank you so much. I’ve already made at least 5 times in the last two months.

I wanted this to turn out with a little Mexican flavor so I added onion, garlic and cumin powder. The meat came out fork tender. Once I took the meat out to shred, I added cilantro and lime juice!! I loved it!

This recipe was simply delicious and we did enjoy the juices (we strained the fat off and put back with pork in the crockpot). My only modification was i cut the amount of salt by half. We used the pork to make pulled pork sandwiches, to accompany a Green Rice dish with string beans and to even just have it with salad. I was also amazed that it did not acquire that funny pork taste after a few days. Will definitely make again soon. I'm sure you could easily doctor it up with other spices or add bbq sauce, but i like the simple flavors of this recipe. Enjoy!
