meh. it's okay. not a favorite but it wasn't too bad. would I make it again in the future? probably. will it be added into my recipe book? no. takes a little too long for just a side dish. it took more than 1 tsp of brown sugar to get the caramelized onion sweeter to balance the bitterness of the brussel sprouts in my opinion.

I ended up adding a little chicken broth with the Brussels sprouts to help soften them the whole family loved them!
