Description
Tartare is a dish featuring raw meat or fish that is seasoned and typically shaped into a small cake. This recipe for salmon tartare follow the classic preparation and plating method. Inspired by Asian cuisine, this salmon tartare is flavored with dijon mustard, pepper, fresh coriander, and sweet soy sauce. Plate the salmon tartare on a bed of lettuce and serve with a drizzle of soy sauce. Additional option to add Tabasco sauce for more heat.

- 300 grams fresh salmon (really, from the tail and skinless)
- 30 grams onion
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 egg yolk
- ground black pepper (Freshly)
- 1 bunch coriander
- oil
- sweet soy sauce (Kecap Manis)
- salt

Directions
- Cut the salmon with a knife into small bite-sized chunks. Set aside in a large dish.
- Finely chop the onion and coriander. Add to the salmon.
- Add the mustard, egg yolk, black pepper, salt, and a drizzle of oil (about 1 tbsp.) to the salmon and mix thoroughly.
