Rhubarb and chocolate - who would have thunk it?!? Well these brownies are rich, chocolatey, moist, dense, fudgey- everything I think a brownie should be! And although I’m a bit of a purist when it comes to brownies, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the addition of rhubarb. Every once in a while, a new flavour bursts on your tastebuds to keep it real interesting! Will definitely make again!

These were absolutely amazing! I was skeptical mixing chocolate and rhubarb, but after trying these I am a huge fan! It is now one of my favorite rhubarb recipes, very chocolaty and moist and the rhubarb just gives it this added complementary flavor. I have made these like 3 times in the last month and a half! I did have to bake like 10 minutes longer than it said but they were well worth the wait. They were pretty thick brownies too. Next time I might try using a 9x13 pan even.

These are really moist and delicious! The rhubarb is a tangy counterpart to the rich chocolate.
I used 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 3 teaspoons vanilla, and they baked 30 minutes.
