I made a few modifications for dietary reasons mainly. i tossed in sprig of oregano from the garden when the potatoes were cooking. I removed it before serving. Delicious!

We love this soup. Easy to make, I typically have everything I need on hand besides the fish and cabbage. Great recipe for when my husband brings home fresh fish after fishing. He’s Portuguese and his family loves when I make this stew and bring it to them. Definitely a keeper. I’ve made it so much, I no longer need the recipe! I often cut the recipe in half too and it tastes just as good.

A solid soup. Easy step by step. Would make again in the futute
