- 2 cups skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 inch chicken breast
- 5 eggs (scrambled and then roughly chopped)
- 2 1/2 cups cooked white rice (cold, Cook the rice in chicken broth or chicken base like Better than Bouillon instead of water)
- 1/2 cup onions (diced small)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 whole red bell pepper (diced I diced mine into small pieces)
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions (thinly, plus the white parts)
- pepper
- salt
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- sauce mix
- 1/8 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. sesame oil
- 2 pinches cumin
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger (only add it if you are not using fresh ginger if using fresh, use 1 tablespoon and cook it with the fresh veggies)
- 1 pinch sugar

Added some shredded veggies at the end. It was very good, although I don’t think it tasted like takeout.

I used this recipe as a base for steak fried rice. I used beef broth, and then put thin sliced steak on top. Other than that everything was the same. Came out perfect!

Made exactly as instructed. Definitely need to have everything prepped/measured before beginning as it is a fast process. The flavors are delicious and the dish could be made on its own; I served it with Brazilian skirt steak.
