delicious. i cooked ours for an extra half an hour. the fat didnt render down as much as id like but i should have seared the fat side longer before putting in the slow cooker. Will definitely make this again.

Turned out very tender and delicious. I would cook to 150 degrees, this was a little too rare for my family.

So pleased with the result! Cooked a small scotch fillet roast using the meat thermometer as described (Ikea meat thermometer) and cooked until it until the alarm went off once meat reached 60 degrees centigrade. I did turn the meat over during cooking and also put a bed of lightly fried onions in the bottom of the crock pot bowl. Took slightly longer than the 90 minutes and I turned the temp to high for a while. I think my slow cooker is just that - slow! Like my roast beef quite pink in the middle and this is exactly how it turned out. Moist and tender. Terrific recipe, thanks 😀😀😀
