This easy and quick recipe for Jasmine Rice is ready in 30 minutes. All you need is jasmine rice and water. It is that easy.

- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 1 1/2 cups water

Directions
- Rinse the rice with cold water in a colander for approximately 4 minutes until the water comes out clean. Drain well. Cover with clean water in a bowl for 2 more minutes and then drain in the colander.
- Place the 1 ½ cups of water and the rice in a pan without turning on the burner. Make sure the rice is covered completely by the water. Allow the water to boil at high heat with the pan uncovered. Do not touch or stir the rice until steam holes are observed and the rice on the surface appears to be dry, between 5 and 7 minutes.
- When this happens, lower the heat to low, cover the pan halfway and allow to cook for 15 minutes more.
- Remove from heat and let stand, without removing the cover, for 3 more minutes. Fluff gently with a fork before serving.
