Description
Not everything goes together like peas and carrots, unless it is this recipe for Peas and Carrots with Garlic. This is a wonderful side dish packed with flavor. Ingredients include frozen peas, diced carrots, minced garlic clove, butter, and salt. Mix it with your favorite whole grain rice for a delectable side dish that everyone in the family will enjoy. It is perfect paired with your favorite chicken or fish dinner.

- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 carrots (diced)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- salt

Directions
- Boil the carrots in water and a pinch of salt until soft. Remove from heat and add the peas to the same pan until they defrost. Drain.
- Heat the butter in a skillet and saute the garlic for 1 minute. Add the cooked vegetables and let cook for 1 or 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and serve.
