  • 2 tablespoons promise buttery spread
  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 4 shallots (large, chopped)
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1/2 cup fat free reduced sodium beef broth
  • 8 cups baby spinach leaves

    1. In 12-inch nonstick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon Promise® Buttery Spread over medium-high heat and cook steak, turning once, until desired doneness. Remove steak and thinly slice.
    2. In same skillet, melt remaining Spread and cook shallots, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes. Add wine and broth. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes.
    3. On serving platter, arrange spinach. Top with steak, then drizzle with vinaigrette. Sprinkle, if desired, with freshly ground black pepper.
