Really, really good. Meat came out so tender and flavoral. Only change was adding more broth to cover meat. But who would not want more awesome gravy.

I followed all the directions and it turned out really good. I added some fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary & basil) it came out very tasty! I placed it over hot jasmine rice and it was perfect! It was a hit in our home, my hubby loved it. Thank you! 👍👍👍

Cooked on stovetop. Simmered for 2 hours. Served with jasmine rice and some red wine. Delicious.

Delicious! I used a whole onion and an extra 3 cups of beef broth (to have extra sauce). I used the bones from the shanks to make the stock. Simmered all for 6 hours in the crockpot.

This was a really helpful recipe. I Idid tweak it a bit for my taste. I don’t really love chunks of tomato in braised things, so I used 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and caramelized it just after I had browned the onions like you would with Coq au Vin. I also used red wine and chicken stock because that’s what I had on hand. It turned out fabulously!

Absolutely delicious. I added my own spin to it. Also, I served this dish with herbed mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus spears. The food coma is real 🤣😈
