This turned out great. A LOT of frosting though. I think I used 5 cups of sugar. Next time I might incorporate the Oreos in all of the frosting. The cake was moist and rich. My cake did not crumble or fall apart. I mixed it all in a stand mixer. I made 3 layers. I would think you need less frosting if you make 2 layers.

Very moist cakes it was perfect. I personally prefer not overly sweet cakes, so I just added 4 cups of or powdered sugar>

Yummy - husband said it is the best cake he's had in awhile and kids absolutely loved it! Didn't even last two full days at my house :)

Tastes absolutely fantastic, however when trying to stack the cakes. it completely fwll apart. I tried to save it with frosting (i bought cream cheese frosting to make it easier) but its kinda a full blown mess. best tasting cake ever, and not a bad attempt for my first two layer cake! thanks for the recipe!

I loved this recipe, made one change when I crushed the cookies I took out the cream filling because I thought it was to much sugar, but it was a crowd pleaser. Yum
