Was very tasty and easy to prepare. Next time I will use regular cornbread mix instead of sweet. Just a personal preference

So easy and so good!!! I added extra cheese on top before baking! Delish!

I used 1 1/2 lbs of meat, next time I’d add more sauce. Overall it’s good though.

I’m hoping someone can help, we absolutely loved this fresh out of the oven but when I reheated it as leftovers the cornbread was super dry. Any tips?

The whole family loved it. Super simple to make. i used Jiffy cornbread mix.

I made this recipe basically the same, but I used a gluten free cornbread mix. I forget how big the bag was, but it was probably twice as large as the one recommended. Because of that, the proportions were way off and ended up with much more cornbread than meat haha. It was very good though. I made the homemade sloppy joe sauce that was included at the bottom, and it made the meat very tasty! I plan to make it again as it combines two favorites of mine into one easy casserole. 😃

This was delicious...the only change I will make next time will be to double the meat & sloppy jo mix...we all thought there was too much cornbread. BUT....I will NEVER buy sloppy jo sauce in a can again...making it was so easy & it was the BEST I have ever ate.

Pretty good! Only took about 10 min in the oven though not 20, but I used a larger skillet.

Pretty good. Makes better leftovers than expected

Made it with Famous Dave’s cornbread and used a 9x13 pan to put the sloppy joe and cornbread in the oven. Was really good but think the sweetness of the cornbread threw it off. Prob better to use a honey or plain flavor.

I thought it was OK. Husband didn't enjoy it. 2 year old refused to try it.

Family of 4 ate it all up. Def. must double it. Used homemade sloppy joe sauce and my own boxed corn bread recipe for it. Turned out amazing. My teenage son loved it

made a few tweaks [used jiffy cornbread & added butter & some sour cream to the mix] but it was freaking delish ! my picky 18 month old loved it ! which was my ultimate goal. definitely will make this again!

Man was this good! I thought the kids wouldn’t eat it because of the onions and bell pepper, but did not have any problems from them. Only complaint is that I wish I had made more as everyone devoured it quickly. Great recipe to add to the cookbook!
