I've made this several times and every time it's been a hit.

It was okay. Like other reviews, I doubled just to use a whole box of macaroni and lb of beef (because that is how they are sold). It was easy, but really lacked any depth of flavor. It would take a lot of reworking to be something I will make again.

Best thing I’ve made so far! Lol thanks for recipe… can’t wait to try again!

Quick, simple, and delish! I’ve made this dish quite a few times now, it’s super hearty and tasty. I do modify the ingredients slightly; I can’t get less than 1lb of beef at a time and I hate wasting food so I just use the whole thing. I use a 32 ounce carton of Beef Broth (just a personal preference really, I think it’s weird to mix chicken and beef lol), two cans of any single bean or mixed beans, and then finally I use a 16 ounce bag of rice pasta. Turns out great every time! My hubby’s not a fan of cheese so I just add some to mine once I dish up.

sounds like a good idea, but needs alot more love & flavor. probably wouldnt make again

It was good as is. With some extra seasoning it was fantastic!

Was good, but will add additional can of tomatoes or some tomato paste for color and flavor next time

Eh. It’s okay, nothing special.

I doubled most of the ingredients, except 4x the beans (I like my chili beany). I only did half again as much liquid and wish I had only used4 cups. I also added 2 cups of cheese and think it could have used more. Although less liquid could have also made it taste like Mac and cheese. I will try again with a few more tweaks.

Yummy comfort food! Kinda doubled by using 2 cans of beans, full lb of beef, 16oz of noodles, added a can of tomatoes with chilies, 1 jalapeño and some green pepper. Seasoned with a chili packet (yes, I cheated) and added a bit more cumin, oregano, and chili powder instead of what was listed. But did NOT add more liquid. Almost a casserole consistency but we loved it! More than enough for 8 generous servings

Fantastic for kids and adults. I’m a cheater - I used McCormicks chili mix instead of listed spices.
Grrrreat!

it was very good, but next time I'll add a bit more salt, and experiment with different cheeses.

Made it and followed recipe. Came out really good the only thing that I changed was the amount of cheese I added more then they asked. Would make again

Very good. Didn’t add 2 cans of beans like says as that seemed like too much. Will make again.
Second time made it with ground turkey and lots of extra veggies - celery, green pepper, even bit of zucchini. Very good alternative.

Very well. I am using what I have which was ditalini pasta rather than macaroni. Still an easy fix.

I added a touch of cilantro and served it with warm cornbread. So good!

Good. Had to put in a comment to see the instructions.

I loved this! I didn't add anything to it but some of the recommendations in other reviews sound good to bring out different flavor profiles. The only thing I will change making this again would be to not add the cheese. I would add it to the top when it's served - if at all.

I thought it was pretty flavorful ! Maybe is because I’m not a big fan of spiced and spicy food. I did use vegetable stock instead of the chicken stock and used almost 2 6 oz can of tomato paste. Yummy !

This was great. Per some of the recommendations I added chopped green chilies, a 1/4 tsp of ground red pepper, 1/4 paprika, and a 1/4 tsp of oregano. I doubled the recipe so I didn’t waste beans and pasta but kept only 1 onion. And I added an extra tsp and a half of chili pepper and a extra tsp of cumin (remember I doubled the recipe). It was plenty spice enough and a big hit. I don’t have kids so didn’t have to worry about this being kid-friendly.

It was yummy. Used more spices and taco spice and added two types of cheese did half the tomatoes and cut the onions large to take out at the end before serving and added extra salt and pepper

I added a can of green chilies-added flavor not spice.

Delicious and yummy! Add chilies or jalapeños

This dish is easy to make. The only problem is lack of flavoring, much like the other reviewers have said. I even added an entire chili seasoning packet while it was simmering and still it wasn't overly flavorful. If I make this again, I will follow other suggestions to add more texture as well: corn, celery, green peppers, etc. I think maybe that could help add to the flavor. This recipe isn't doomed, but I think it needs some adjustments in seasoning and texture.

i added some taco seasoning for a little added flavor

Came out just ok. Tasted bland and seemed to be missing something. Would be willing to make again with adjustments and additions. Great base recipe.

Very good I love that they mix the white and red kidney beans

Big hit with my girls, just had to tone down the chilli for little taste buds :)

Turned out great! Would make it again!

We enjoyed it🙂
I put 2 1/2 cups of chicken stock, full tin of 400g of beans and i didnt have a tin of toms so i diced 4 fresh ones.I also used 500g mince.Glad i didn't use 1ltr of stock as it would have been too much so thanks to the previous reviewer for that comment.
Would make again😊
