I added some minced garlic and onion powder, the flavor was good but the rice wasn't fully cooked.

I like the original recipe but tweaked it to my tastebuds.
I used red onion, added a chopped clove of garlic, and a sachet of Pilaf rice spice. I also put in some chives and spinach. Delicious.

Takes at least 45 minutes to cook and not 35. I added yeast for the taste.

I only got two portions out of the ingredients so it was a bit too salty. At the end i added some sauteed spinach and edamame beans.

Made with the addition of some small peppers that I needed to use up; chopped and added with onions. Tasted pretty good!

Loved this recipe... I love mushrooms. I love brown rice. I love that it was simple & quick to prepare. Didn't have veggie broth on hand, so I subbed a packet of mushroom gravy; but did not add the salt. (Also added a small clove of garlic with the sautéed onions & mushrooms). Yummy. Still can't decide whether to add peas or serve with sautéed spinach.
