In the first recipe it says to use 1 cup of sugar and on the direction recipe it says to use 1/2 cup sugar. I usually pre-measure my ingredients and then follow recipe instructions. Cookies were flat and the chips seemed to stay in the middle, due to too much sugar? I used the 1 cup measurement. Tasted good but will try another recipe. Not impressed with this one! ☹️

These cookies are out of sight. They’re soft and chewy. It’s the right amount of sweetness. My grand kids love them. Will be saving this recipe.

Excellent recipe! I was worried that 2 cups of chocolate chips would be too much, but it gave the cookies just the right amount of chocolate chips. I baked them for a little longer just because I like the cookies to be a little crunchier. One of the best chocolate chip cookie recipes I’ve found so far.

I think I could’ve cooked them just a little bit longer or on a little higher heat. But they were very good! I added a cup of walnuts into half the dough for my mother and she loved them!

I made the recipe exactly except I didn’t have any dark brown sugar so I just used all white sugar and poured some molasses in. I also only had imitation vanilla on hand but OMG if you do the recipe exactly like it says these are the best cookies ever. Definately mrs fields and def my new go to. These took me back to my middle school days meandering the mall

OMG! This is my second time EVER making cookies from scratch. I LOVE these! Crunchy edges and soft inside. The other chocolate chip recipe was fair...this one is OUTSTANDING! I can never eat store bought cookies again.

Rave reviews when I shared these cookies!! I used 60% cacao chips from Ghirardelli and sprinkled a very scant amount of sea salt on the tops before baking. The chilling is very important- my later cookies were not as “fluffy” bc the dough was warmer

I used coconut sugar for the brown and reduced overall sugar to less than a cup, plus added some stevia. i also used 50/50 almond meal and buckwheat flour and they turned out amazing!!
