Description
Start your day off right with a vibrant green smoothie made with tropical mango, banana, and kiwi as well as healthy spinach and oats. Be sure to buy a bag of frozen leaf spinach rather than a block. A heavy-duty blender works best, but if you’re using a regular blender, you can add a little water to help puree the fruits and vegetables. The recipe, which makes 3 1/4 cups, is a Yummly original created by Ashley Strickland Freeman.
Ingredients

2 SERVINGS
- 1 banana
- 1 kiwi fruit
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 1/4 cups frozen spinach (from a bag, not a block)
- 1 1/4 cups frozen mango chunks
- 1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 Tbsp. water (or up to 1/4 cup)
- 1 Tbsp. honey (optional; or 2 Tbsp. if you want it sweeter)

Directions
- Peel banana and kiwi. Cut fruit into chunks.
- Pour almond milk into a blender. Add banana, kiwi, spinach, mango, oats, and 2 Tbsp. water. Process until very smooth, stopping to scrape inside of container as needed, and adding more water if smoothie is too thick. Taste smoothie and add honey if you like.
- Divide smoothie between glasses and serve immediately.
