Epic failure. They stuck to the well buttered and flowered madeleine pan so I made them muffins. Really too bland for my taste and I put extra lemon in.

These were a hit with my mom! We made them again today. This is one of her favorite cookies. Before putting them in the molds, I chilled the mix in the refrigerator for one hour. This condensed the bubbles. Once I put the molds in the oven, the bubbles expanded. The result? Fluffy, moist madeleines! I added pecan bits and omitted the lemon.

I just made these. I have been wanting to make these for a long time. I added twice the lemon zest because I love the flavor. They are delicious!

mines turned out really yummy i didn't have a mold so i just used mini cupcake pan still turned out just fine

Mine turned out rather dense, although the flavor was good and buttery. I didn’t have an electric mixer on hand, so whisking and folding the ingredients in together was a bit of a challenge on my own. Next time, I’ll try mixing a little more gently to try to get a lighter, fluffier end result. :)
