I followed the recipe and it turned out okay but it tasts like pork rhinds. Not my favorite. It does look just like fried chicken. It just doesn't taste great like real breadding on great fried chicken.

I put more spices in the “breading“ than the recipe called for: cayenne and a spice mix, in addition to salt and pepper. The first time I made it, I cooked it only until the chicken was at the required temperature. The flavor was nice, but the outer texture was a soft comfort food sort of coating. The second time around, I lowered heat and allowed it to cook a bit longer and it came out crispy and absolutely wonderful.

I would say, have a big enough pot to cook AT LEAST half the chicken at once if cooking a whole chicken. Chicken was very tender and juicy. Double the recipe for a whole chicken.

Okay so the chicken did not stick to the pork grinds so there were 2 separate piles and a huge mess. Also i recommend using like 3 bags of pork grinds to cover them. If you make this recipes season it so much that it worries you! I probably would make this recipe again but with many changes fried pork grinds were a great idea though.

I did this recipe and it was the bomb!! I also added the pork rinds to my fish!! and I made it with chicken breast it made the meat juicy and not dry

i took the advice of a couple other commentators after initially reading the recipe. I had an 8 piece full chicken with dark meat and breasts. I used 2 bags of pork reins (one bag of regular, one bag of the hot/spicy for extra flavor). also added a couple of spices..onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. used 2 eggs instead of one and oven fried at 400 for 45-50 min. as we are not huge fans of pan frying. Cant believe this is low carb... very juicy and crispy! Very easy to put together.. a good shake and bake alternative. A little greasy but I've seen worse in other recipes. Will definitely add this to our regular recipe rotation! Highly recommend!

We thought this was just okay, but not really all that fantastic. The breading is a bit bland...and honestly kind of porky, for want of a better word, and we thought it kind of left a bit of aftertaste. I probably won't make it again.

it was good, but I will try BBQ pork rinds next time. The breading was a little bland.

used 1/4 cup EVOO and mixed it in with the pork rinds. added another egg with 2 tablesooons of almond milk. put it on a rack that was on top of a foil lined cookie sheet, and Baked it for 60 min. at 400 degrees. I had larger thighs, I would do 45 min for smaller ones and it turned out great. 0 carbs for the pork rinds and baked instead of deep fried. will definately make it again!!!

I understand why this recipe is so very popular !!! I used chicken legs and I was so shocked, being more of a skeptic, I like to try things for myself instead of taking someone elses word. I am glad that I did. I would highly suggest that others do the same because this is the easiest and tastiest FRIED chicken ever. It gets 5 stars from me!

This was delicious! I used chicken tenders and double dipped the tenders, so I used two eggs!

This is an excellent recipe. The only danger is it tastes so good you want more. I cook enough for our dinner and lunch the next day.

Holy wow! These tasted awesome! They were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was really easy except the clean up from any fried food.
