I made this but with so many changes I think the flavor profile is way different. I'll suggest them here to others bc it turned out great. I used serrano peppers instead of diced chiles bc I was in Mexico at the time and that's what they had (PS, don't use the whole can if you don't handle spice). I used 3/4s the amount of cream cheese bc you don't need more. The only reason I used more than 1/4 the amount was because it was freaking spicey and I was hoping to make it edible for the non-spice family members (that didn't help haha). I used just regular can of tomatoes and unfortunately didn't have enough. I think one more can (I doubled the recipe) would have been good. In summary, serrano instead of green chile and less cream cheese and the flavor is great!

I made this exactly as directions say! The cream cheese was ruined by the time it was done. I would suggest adding cream cheese near the end of completion. It was my first time to use cream cheese in a dinner recipe so not sure on when to add it exactly but needless to say it was ugly and looked curdled. We pulled the chicken out and used it in some Mexican rice. Tossed the rest.

The soup tasted very good and was even better the second day. The only thing I couldn't figure out was the cream cheese. It didn't "melt" as well as I wanted so there are pieces of it in there. Not sure if there was something I should've done differently.

This soup is amazing. The only thing I did different was adding a can of drained black beans. I used homemade taco seasoning. I will be making this recipe again!

It sounds like it will be delicious, but why does it say "40 minutes" when it's actually 6-8 hours in a slow cooker?

loved this soup. added an extra can of spicy rotel tomatoes just for extra vegetables since this was served alone And we love tomatoes.

Best soup ever!! And the best thing was...it was very easy! I used Old Bay seasoning and it was wonderful!!

It was delicious. I added one can of the chili fixin from Rotel and next time I wouldn’t do that. I used Aldi’s cream cheese and it didn’t melt as well, so next time I would use Philadelphia. Over all I really liked it. The second time I made it I added chopped onions and it added a lot to it.

This soup doesn’t taste low carb! Possibly the easiest soup I’ve ever made - throw it all in a crockpot and come back 7 hours later! I added cheese, chives and tortilla strips to the top and everyone came back for seconds. Highly recommend this recipe!

So so good!!! Cream cheese needed help dispersing but a little whisk helped that along. Next time maybe a little more cream cheese and 1/4 C. less chicken broth to thicken but was great regardless. Quickest easiest prep ever. Going to take the soupbase of this one and do a veggie version next.

The flavor was great but the cream cheese didnt breakdown completely so not sure you need 2 whole packs. The flavor was there.
