    Loved this simple but filling meal. More important my family enjoyed it and that’s what counts. I didn’t add or subtract from the receipt except for adding a chicken quarter that was very small and I diced it so small you could hardly detect it. We love lentil in our diet and this was a lovely way of working it into another palate so lovely and wonderful. Amongst 3 people almost all gone! Good with a great bread or cascades. Thank you.

    Added more spices, diced potatoes, ham steak, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, diced jalapeños, diced Serrano pepper, unfortunately I had to use canned lentils but it came out extremely well!!

    My husband love it!!! Spicy but very tasty!!! I use tomato sauce with flavour instead of normal tomatoes which added more flavour to it.

    it was delicious,but it needed more seasoning than the recipe called for. i added salt,pepper,garlic powder, cumin, and a little paprika.

    Don’t forget to leave the lentils in water overnight For 3 cups of lentils I used 3 cups of liquid and turned up pretty well

    Love the flavor!! You can throw anything in to make it more substantial. I am going to try to add some meat to it and kidney beans.

    Good not great. Would be better with carrots, celery maybe more onions. It seems like it’s missing something including spice.

    Not a fan. It was pretty tasteless to me, but I’m just starting to eat healthy so I’m used to lots of sugar and dairy

    I’ll start by saying that I love meat, a lot. With that said, I go vegan for lent (all days, not just Fridays) and this is by far my favorite meal when I’m feeling constricted by the diet or unfulfilled in some way. It’s filling, tasty, and dank.

    It was kind of bland. I added my own seasonings, but if I were to make this again, I'd recommend using a LOT more seasonings.

    Absolutely delicious. A little spicy for kids, but fantastic flavor. Added a head of kale to the recipe for a little extra veggie.

    I liked it but we substituted sweet potatoes instead of peppers as it’s more kid friendly it went over well

    Awesome recipe! Meat eating boyfriend went back for seconds and thirds. Used dry lentils and put them in the pressure cooker, only used one box of vegetable broth. Could use some extra veggies, whatever veggies float your boat.
