Turned out better than I thought! Skipped the bacon and added a bit more oil and fresh garlic instead of garlic powder. Did not parboil, but diced the turnips and onion into small cubes. The turnips crisped up nicely.

This dish was very tasty, I did parboil first but did the rest according to recipe. Will definitely prepare this again.

Delicious and my brain “thought” I was having potatoes with my egg!
I made mine with a Rutabaga and will make it again!

Really yummy! I used a russet potato instead of a turnip and just used one (on a diet) I also substituted a sausage for bacon again just one, added some seasoning and fried an egg at the end! I’ll definitely make again!

Cooked directly in bacon grease and added a fried egg on top for added flavor. Pretty good! I also used two turnips, and it makes 2 large portions for my large appetite!

I like this recipe a lot. The flavour was great. The turnip didn't have quite the texture I was hoping for, but the bacon was a great add. I didn't put the scallion and parsley on top at the end. It wasn't needed!

These are amazing, seasoned with a little pink Himalayan sea salt and pepper. Not potatoes, but just as good.
