Description
Bring a taste of the seaside to your dinner table with these jumbo shrimp with a cilantro cream sauce. The jumbo shrimp are sauteed to tenderness in a combination of butter, garlic, brown sugar, lime juice, cilantro, and scallions for a lightly sweet and completely savory flavor. After the shrimp is cooked, cream is added to the pan to form a creamy sauce. These shrimp are best served with cooked rice.

- 2 garlic cloves (diced)
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
- 1 lime (juiced)
- salt
- 3 Tbsp. cilantro (diced)
- 1 Tbsp. scallion (diced)
- 24 jumbo shrimp (whole but digestive tract cleaned out)
- 200 mL heavy cream

Directions
- In a large skillet, add the butter, garlic, brown sugar, lime juice, cilantro, and scallion.
- Stir together well, add the shrimp, and salt to taste.
- Saute everything on medium heat and lightly mash on the shrimp heads for them to release their juices.
- Once the shrimp are cooked, lower the heat and stir in the cream.
- Serve with steamed rice and guacamole.
