- 1Â lb. turkey sausage (best to find no nitrates brand)
- 1/2Â cup onion (finely chopped, if time is critical, you can use dried onion flakes)
- 1/4Â cup almond flour
- 1Â egg
- 1Â Tbsp. italian seasoning
- 1Â Tbsp. basil
- 1Â Tbsp. garlic (minced)
- 1/2Â tsp. onion salt (optional)
- 28Â oz. organic tomatoes (crushed, no sugar added - I will use tomatoes purchased at our local farmer's market and finely chop, for fresh flavor)
