Soooo fast and easy, plus, tastes better than canned beans. I lightly sautéed the onion & garlic before adding everything else, just to build flavor. Turned out delicious! As prior reviews have mentioned, cook for 45 min for softness.

This is the only way I make my beans, my family loves them! I add a 1/4 cup pork chorizo, and 1 slice chopped bacon for extra flavor. I set cook time for 30 minutes or use the “chili bean” setting button twice. I also soak the raw beans for a few hours prior to cooking.

I’ve made this recipe 4 times already...freezing batches for later use each time. They are so tasty! I do have to cook them for longer, though (35-40 min) or else the beans are a tad under-done may be an altitude thing

These are very tasty, but do need about 40-45 minutes to fully cook.

Good! Overall good result. Our Pressure cooker needed 45 min to completely cook the Beans. Next time may add some additional peppers/spices. Thanks for Recipe.

I soaked the beans overnight & cooked them in the Instant Pot for 9 minutes on High. Very tender & great flavor 👍🏻

The beans weren't as soft as I would have thought, but the flavor was good.

I don’t have a pressure cooker so I cleaned and soaked the beans overnight. I then added all of the measured ingredients to a covered pot and cooked on the stove.. they were the best beans I’ve ever made. I am adding this to my list of many go to recipes. Yum!
