Best French Onion soup I’ve had. Smelled and tasted delicious! Used 3lb onions, 1 1/2 T brown sugar. Used Worcestershire instead of balsamic. Added about 1/4 c dry red wine. Everyone loved it!

Super yum! I do 2 tbs of brown sugar and instead of balsamic I use Cooking Sherry and throw in fresh thyme while it pressure cooks! Sooooo easy and hits the spot. One of the best French onion recipes I’ve found!

It turned out amazing!! I added a tablespoon of Kitchen Bouquet to give it a richer flavor.

The soup turned out awesome! I mixed pepper and salt into the flour before mixing with the onions. I only had 1 carton of beef broth so I used “Better Than Bouillon “ and mixed 4 cups worth. The flavor was very tasty. It did seem to take forever for the onions to cook down and carmelize sautéing in the Instant Pot. But that was the longest part of the process. I will be making again!
