It was absolutely delicious. The family loved it. Made homemade Naan for it. So good.

This recipe has the authentic aroma and taste of Indian curry sauce, and therefore a keeper. I pre-seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper. I used ghee instead of oil. I also put a 13 oz can of coconut milk which translates to about a cup and a half. You can adjust the heat of the dish with the cayenne powder or by throwing in some jalapeños or hot pepper of your choice. I put in 1- 1/2 tsp of salt. This is a good base Indian curry sauce that you can tweak to your liking with more or less heat or salt. The 3/4 cup of water is not needed if using coconut milk.

Had to add salt a few times, but otherwise, very tasty! I used whole milk instead of heavy cream because that's what I had and the sauce still thickened nicely after simmering for 20 minutes.

Great for left over turkey!

Will try again. Flavors are really good. I would dump the extra water if going with coconut milk. If you follow the original recipe and go with heavy cream, the water should be fine. Another thing might be to use Ghee instead of vegetable oil. I’ll let you know my second time around.

Very tasty. I added a tablespoon of tomato paste from another recipe to aensure it thickens and made it in the crock pot for 6 hours. Also added coconut milk to make the rice (half coconut milk half chicken broth). Very good and the whole family likes it!

The coconut milk make it a little runnier but taste is spot on.
