This tasted more like chilli than butter chicken, I really could only taste the cumin. But the texture was a amazing

I enjoy spicy food, so this was wonderful.

This is a great base recepie and the marinade is fire. I do suggest cubbing the chicken first before marinading over night, browninging them the next day, then tossing them in the marinade again before putting in the crock pot. This adds a bit more flavor rather than just spice.

So delicious! Husband always raved about this dish called “butter chicken” from when he was stationed in Middle East. I surprised him with this recipe and he absolutely loved it! We ate it with store bought naan 👌🏽😋

This was great! Spicy! I squeezed a lime wedge just before serving to counter the spice I contemplated only half a jalapeño while making it I may do that next time. Overall, a great dish!

So good! It was actually very easy to make. You have to marinate the chicken over night though so this isn’t a recipe you’ll be making for dinner tonight. ❤️

This was amazing! I doubled the recipe, but otherwise made it exactly as written. I made a very simple naan to go with this and served over basmati rice. Everyone in my family of five loved it, including the five year old and one year old. It looked and tasted like the butter chicken from our favorite Indian restaurant. By doubling the recipe we had three full meals from this. (Probably could have had four, but it was so good we overate...)

Perfectly spicy and melt in your mouth tender chicken. Threw a cupful of frozen peas into cooker at end of cook time because I wanted a one dish meal. Served over Jasmine brown rice. Loved loved loved!

Make this at least once a week. I do it in the skillet instead of the slow cooker. Turns out fabulous!

It was easy and delicious. I was afraid one jalapeño would make it too spicy but it was very mild and flavorful. We double the recipe and make this once a month.
