- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. curry powder
- 1 head cauliflower (about 3 to 4 cups florets, cut into florets)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut milk (Just take from the can before you pour it in)
- 3 tsp. coconut oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 1 Tbsp. Garam Masala
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 14 oz. coconut milk (minus the 2 tablespoons for the marinated cauliflower)
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 lime (about 1 tablespoon)

I reduced the chili powder so it wouldn’t be too spicy for the little one. This turned out delicious.

2nd time: JUST as good!
1st time: INCREDIBLE! Used my own garam masala blend and marinated the cauliflower overnight. REALLY good!

We loved it. I subbed a pinch of cayenne pepper for Indian pepper and used ghee as we aren’t vegan. Will make again!!!

A fantastic recipe that is accessible to many. Like many other comments have said, I would err on the smaller side when chopping the cauliflower. I served with rice and it does very well as leftovers

This was AMAZING! I added about half the amount chilli spice to the cauliflower only (left it out of the sauce entirely) so it wouldn’t be too spicy for the little one, and added some plain Greek yogurt to serve (which makes it non-vegan but even more delicious). Whole family loved it, will definitely be making this again, and soon!

I followed the recipe as written, with no substitutions, and it was fantastic. It was also really simple. I actually made the sauce the night before, then finished with the cauliflower the following evening. This sauce can be used as a base for all kinds of delicious vegetable dishes. I'm pretty sure it's going to be a regular in my kitchen.

Very flavourful. Should have cut the florets a bit smaller so they would cook through. Will make again.

Turned out great! We added a bit of sugar to the sauce which added a bit of sweetness. Recommend serving with a chutney

Tasted great. I might have not cut the cauliflower small enough, but it took a lot longer to get soft enough.

This is a wonderful dish, and it is packed full of flavor. My only issue was with the cauliflower. I went by the recipe and bought a medium head of cauliflower and cut it into florets. It came out to 7-8 cups, so I figured I would make double the sauce and double the marinade. There wound up being A LOT of sauce and the cauliflower is tolerably over spiced. Wondering if I took directions to literal by measuring out the cauliflower. Will absolutely be making again, but playing with the math.
