Fantastic, loved the flavors, I used beef instead of venison, and switched from chicken stock to beef stock, absolutely loved it

Amazing stew for venison. I added a little corn starch at the end to thicken and served it with cauliflower. It was great.

Everyone at the table loved it! But my version was highly modified. I used boneless pork ribs for the meat, and Porter for the ale, added mace as an accent. Made the stew with dumplings on top. Served a mix of red cabbage sauerkraut, red pear, raspberries and sour cherries on the side. Horseradish and sour cream in cruets on the table.
